Frequently Asked Questions
Which cricket matches are on today?
This page lists every match we hold for the current period, newest activity first. Matches being played right now carry a live marker, and the ones still to come show their scheduled start.
What do the match statuses mean?
Upcoming is a match that has not started. Live is a match in progress. Stumps means play has ended for the day in a multi-day match that is not finished. Completed means the result is in.
Where can I see who won a match?
Open the match and the result line sits at the top of the page, next to the final score for both sides. The results page collects the finished matches in one list.
Can I see a full scorecard?
Yes, where the data provider publishes one. A match page shows the innings totals it has, and the batting and bowling detail underneath when that has been supplied. Nothing is filled in with a guess when it is missing.
How often do the matches update?
Match data is refreshed on a schedule rather than continuously, so a live score is as fresh as the last successful update. Finished matches keep their final figures and are not changed afterwards.
Why is a match delayed or interrupted?
Cricket stops for rain, bad light and an unfit ground, and in limited-overs games the umpires can cut the number of overs to fit the time left. A match that loses too much time can be abandoned without a result.
What time zone are the start times in?
Start times are shown in the site time zone, not in the local time of the ground. A match listed for the evening may therefore be a morning start where it is being played.
