VPESports Cricket is a cricket media site. We cover news, players, teams and competitions in one place.

What we do

We publish cricket news and match reports. We keep a database of player profiles with country, team, role and career details. We write simple guides that explain the rules and the formats of the game.

Our goal is to make cricket easy to follow. Many cricket pages assume you already know the sport. We try not to. Where a term needs an explanation, we give one.

Where our data comes from

Player profiles are built from public, openly licensed data sources. Career statistics are counted from published ball-by-ball match records. Each profile links to the source it was built from, and we do not publish a number we cannot trace.

How we work

News is written by our editorial team. Comments are read before they appear. Profile data is refreshed by import rather than typed in by hand, so the same fact is not entered twice.
