Cricket Teams

This section holds team profiles from across the cricket world: national sides, franchise teams from the major leagues, domestic and county sides, and club teams. Each profile brings together the squad, the country, the team type and the key facts on record, so you can see who plays for a side and where it fits in the game.

Use the search box to jump straight to a team by name, or the filters to narrow the list by country, team type or gender. The Featured Teams block leads with sides that have a full squad on record rather than a name alone, so the first thing you see is a profile worth opening.

Where the information comes from

Team details are built from openly licensed data sources and structured records, not from opinion or estimates. Where a fact is not on record — a founding year, a home ground, a coach — the profile leaves it out instead of guessing. Squad lists reflect the player records we hold, and a team with no squad yet will say so.

What connects to what

Every team links to its players, and every player links back. Where a team appears in the rankings, the ranking table links to the same profile, so the number and the squad behind it are never separate pages telling different stories. Women’s sides are collected together in the women’s cricket section as well as appearing here.
